The Chelsea Art Museum presents Michael Mao Dance performing "Immigrant Paths" an interactive program featuring a collaboration between choreographer Michael Mao and composer Huang Ruo on the theme of "crossing borders.” The program will also include Lorca Libre, five dances set to evocative songs written by Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca and sung by Flamenco Cantaores, which premiered at Chelsea Art Museum last year. Michael Mao's diverse company of immigrant and native-born dancers will share their immigrant paths and invite the audience to share theirs or those of their families. Following the performance, the dancers will invite audience members to join them on stage to learn traditional dances.

Free Admission.
